So I was all stoked about heading to Rooster sunday morning. Woke up early to check the sensors and saw that it wasn't really happening at all so I stayed home and made breakfast.
The wife wakes up at 10:00. "honey, I think my water broke". Huh? Your not due for another month?. "you probably just pissed yourself, call the doctor anyways".
Dr. says, "pack your things and go to the hospital, if your water broke, your having this baby today".
Total panic sets in, kiteboard stuff out of the car, hospital stuff in and off we go. 18 hours, lots of puching and a "heavenly" epidural later, I am the proud father of the 5lb 4 oz baby boy "Jonah ".   
The baby is doing well and should be home in a few days. Thanks to all of you who called to check up on things.
Now I just have to find a way to mount a car seat to my kiteboard!!!

Come to think of it...your poor wife now has 3 boys to take care of, including yourself...  ...Better get her something extra special when mothers day comes around...Anyways, happy for you and your familia...Get some sleep...

| Congrats! Have you ever seen Cory Roeseler ride with his boy standing in the middle of the board holding on to his dad's legs meanwhile Cory tears it up ? Something to look forward to in a few years

Thanks for all the congrats. Here is a picture of the little guy. I do remember someone giving their son a ride on a board once. Pretty funny for sure.

LOL, I do believe he came out early because I was whispering all week that it was Supposed to blow like mad at Rooster on sunday.
I have been showing him kiteboarding magazines already. I think I need help

Dude, don't give him any of them cheezzy baby rattles...make a "baby Size" kite bar with a couple of shoe strings at the ends....Have him ready for the feel of the bar....And forget about putting him in front of the tube watching Barnie and the muppets - instead, throw in a couple of kite vids to get him started....The little squirt will be doing triple kiteloops by the time he's 10.... ...Let me know if you need anymore ideas...
