anyone have the beta on the blue crossbow that went down today at RR? it looked like he (or was it a she) was struggling and on their way to corbets with the current. somewhere around 2pm. 5th line broke and there were a few death spirals and a pretty fast clip down river. |

Yikes!!! Luckily that wasn't me... It has happened though.....
Though the XBow doesn't have a fifth line yet. Could be one of the steering lines got caught around the harness or reel leash... Hope they're ok. |

Right on.....JK and I got there about 4:30...Kinda late but oh well, But by than, the wind was on life support but still crank'n enough for a big kite...
Note: Rooster Rock isn't always a small kite area like some people think...Wind generally dies off late in the afternoon...It may even be ride-able well into sunset...JK was on a 16 and I was on a 15...We rode for a bit - not bad for this time of year...Sure hell beats fart'n around the house. |
