Hey pkh, some wind is better than wet, rainy wind here in the NW!

Which sensor(s) indicate the wind you guys are riding?

Let’s see some adventure pictures!! Thumb's Up ~Nads

The REAL location is in Waves NC. and that should be where there at. There are two sensors almost on top of each other. one reads 11 the other 13 on ythe map in your post. I was just looking that information up to see how much fun they were having!

Day 2 was much better (actually we determined the first day didn't count because we flew in on it.) 12m kites powered on small boards by the end of the day. Butter spot at kite point is like schweet schizzle on my heinizzle faschizzle.

All the sensors on that list could be where we are at potentially, we have just been aiming for wherever the wind is strongest, but mostly its been at the REAL slick and Buxton.

Gone through about 3 hours of video so far... Very Happy

maybe he could try the snore strips. I always have them on hand or those drunkin' nights I keep everyone up. Then again, I always have ear plugs for the random gigs.

I hope you guys get some wind for the next few days. it sucks I had to leave today. yesterday was fun but wet. 99% of the riding was in the rain and 70 deg. Wind was the strongest day yet. sounded like you should be getting sunny weather for the rest of the trip. cheers!

it was warm and clearer today but only lightwinds, did a underpowered downwinder and then a little skim/glide action... but mostly drinking, bullshitting, and xbox. I owe FlyingElvis a huge case of beer because his 12m waroo is all I have used the whole trip. yesterday was enough wind for the 9m but only a few times...

the more I am here the more it makes me appreciate what we have in the NW... though the flat water around these parts is pretty schweet, you just can't beat the "set your watch by it" guaranteed nukage in the Gorge...

here's hoping for a 9m sesh before the trip is out... Nate is gunna do some sick shit and my camcorder is going to be all over it. Very Happy

A surfboard is definetly helpfull in skunkage reduction when in Hatteras. The waves can get pretty sweet @ the lighthouse with the right swell. This is one of the best places for surfing on the NC coast. The waves are pretty forgiving, local vibe is cool, and there are a couple of places that rent boards. Dolphins like to swim by in that location, and check you out. Anyways, I'm sure you guys have already checked it out. - C

The trip has been extended to Oct 22 for me and Nate, stuck in Newark, NJ overnight as a result of a delayed flight and missing our connection.

Oh well we made the most of it, hit the NYC! Pretty schweet, never been. Empire State, Times Square, we saw what we can...

Details later... its 3:50 in the morning and I am not sure if what I am typing is even comprehensible (sp?).

Good stuff, Phil! It's 6:30AM over here now and I'm still up trying to get some studying in so don't feel bad. Have a safe trip back boys!

Holy shat...Phil and I just got into the PDX. 24 hours of travel, 4 airports, 2 trains, 2 delayed flights, 1 rental car, 4 pieces of missing luggage and a brief overnight swoop of new york city later. I'm totally cashed.....but seriously...that was SICK

Add no keys to get into my apartment to the list of problems... (they are in my bag which apparently is still in New Jersey.)

I need some sleep!
