I bought a 132 Drop LTD early last year.
Love the surfy smooth feel,
Jimmy Lewis design on this board really shines,,,,
Then a friend bought a 138 Mission in the Gorge this summer.
Intermediate kiter,
We thought he was duped by the salesman,
to buy such a radical looking "trick" board.
Then I rode the board and loved the feel.
Smoth as the LTD, better pop, stickier landings.
bigger board that feels like a smaller board.
I even liked it better in the surf at the coast.
And you complain about the price of Liquid Force boards.
(in comparison to most brands)
I bought one and it is my favorite board.
Probably not the lightest board on the market. |

If you want a light-weight flat water board, then the Hana Crew boards are sweet. Balsa core and all that good stuff. I've rode one for the last 4 years and love it. Well, there was about 3 mos. when it was lost floating in the rocks up by Rosie and I didn't get to ride it, but luckily an Indian fisherman found it.
Super light and surfy - I have trouble riding anything else now. |
