Were y'all on 7m or what... It looked like 12-30 when I checked. "Classic gorge" conditions?
FYI: the baldy is White Salmon's own Chris Taylor and the pooch is Lucy. (shes actually a pro-dog model so you may need her to sign a photo release)

| I am not exactly sure, but I relaunched it and it seemed fine- was really windy and then all of a sudden I heard a big rip and the next thing I know one of the canopy panels has riped in two all the way to the trailing edge. I learned that kites don't like to fly when the rip and the next thing I know it is pin-wheeling. Second lesson I learned is that the OSR does not work when your kite is twisting like that. Fortunately someone was able to come out and grab my kite to help me get back in. I am a little bummed and I am told the warranty is only 90 days. I have only had the kite less than a season, but probably more than three months. It is an awesome kite- a 9 m Waroo.

There's a break in the clouds over Lyle right now, doesn't look like any rain either, and there's WIND (I think)... I wanna go!

Yes Young Jedi Kataku...The forces of nature are also calling me...I haven't kited for over a week - I'm pissed  and the symptoms are showing...I love P-Town but the rain sucks sometimes....My girlfriend is getting a little upset since I'm hogging the tube - watching "Spare Change" about 50 times thus far....So after 3:30 this afternoon (Yes-some of us have jobs) I'm stopping at 7-11 (grab some beer and munchies) - Running lights and heading East - where ever the wind blows....

| Lyle was psycho today! Headed straight there from Gresham, got there ~2:00 (no one was out), decided it was a little crazy (felt easily over 40 - and I didn't feel like getting completely rocked), so I headed back to the Event Site. Rode the 11m there with up and down conditions (lit/overpowered, then lulls to nothing). Left at 4:30, discovered Nate had left a message on my phone saying that he was heading to Lyle (he saw that the Sandbar was dying as he drove by), so I decided to make the short drive back. Upon arriving, once again was like "holy shit". Saw everyone out on 7's and 6's (mostly all bows) lit off their asses, and waited around for it to come down. Got on the water ~5:30 and had a decent up and down 7m sesh for an hour. Overall still fun... No pics though. Sorry!
