well...mocean was right! stay away from the flukey souths. I was in Pacific city all weekend, so I figured what the heck, and took my kite gear. I put up a 12Waroo and was playing around on the beach waiting for the wind (if it would just ever come)... it finally picked up a little, and, although I had to work a little, I got in a good 45 minutes before it went back down. I stayed in close and just rode the shore break...good times... so I figured I'd do the same thing sunday... hung out on the beach, wind picked up and I got a good 4 minute ride in... yeesh...  then the wind shut down almost completely. 
still... I was at the coast, it was sunny, and I drank beer. I still give it a 10!     |

yea,
i got outta there just has the winds turned, had a nice time last wednesday at whiskey run,... 6ft swells @ 12 seconds...lit up on a 6m kite 
too bad i'm not expierienced enuff for 15ft waves  |
