Hey all,
If you kited at the spit in the last few days, then take care of yourself if you are feeling ill or have an open wound.
100,000 gallons of raw sewage was spilled into the Hood River (which flows by and through the spit) and eventually into the Columbia. The spill happened on Tuesday.
Both rivers are running low right now but still provide plenty of flushing action. So, it should be back to normal dirty in a day or two.
Nice floater.
And some people still won't pee in their wetsuit. |

That is disgusting. What was the cause of 100,000 gallons of raw sewage getting spilled into the Hood River? Last I checked it is 2006, NOT 1906? |
