fly in to HCMC and hire a car to take you to mui ne bay and stay along half moon bay for cheap. drink cheap. everything cheap. stay in Ho Chi Minh on the front end and the back end to make transition easy. party it up when you arrive and when you leave. go in Dec-Feb for an endless assault of windy days. shoot for full moon parties. wear lot's of sunblock. get multi entry visa and hop over to cambodia, laos, or bangkok for a weekend. bring cash. watch out for frenchies, drink with the russians, and have sex with the locals.

Lance,
Last night, I went to a kite travelling seminar held by Urban Surf up here in Seattle. If you are looking for a group type package, try emailing jeffro@kiteadventures.com. Jeff is an instructor at Urban Surf up here in Seattle and also splits time with kite tours in the winter. I know he is offering packages through kite adventures to Vietnam.
The crew at Windchimes were very cool and fun to hang with in the evenings.

Before you enter the country, you are required to have a VISA. I went last year and got it while in Bangkok. It took a couple of days, but Thailand is a nice place to visit too. Mui Ne is very nice and I will be going back before too long.
