i have never been to sauvies and am thinking of trying it tonight.
is anyone else going or is the wind dead for tonight  I noticed the wind sensor for sauvies dosent work! What to do, What to do.

| Here's my 2 cents - The sensors at Suavies seem to update 20 minutes after the hour. Sauvies, this time of year gets really suckie...But you never know, heard yesterday was really good. You won't know unless you try it. If you do go, you may want to bring the biggest kite you got, a surf board, your lawn chair, and a 12 pack of beers. Oh yeah, check the tide report unless you don't mind walking your kite on the beach. Sauvies is suppose to blow light tonight. If you don't have access to the forecast, Call ASI in P-town. They can give you a better idea if Sauvies will blow tonight. Oh, you'll need a parking permit - 3.00 that you can buy it at the store by the bridge (Entry to Sauvies Island). Wish you luck...

| In all my times to Sauvie's over the past 5 or so years, I've never once bought a parking pass... And I didn't think anyone really did... Oops!

Keep an eye on SI. It could go late again tonight as Jones is building (same scenario as last night)...

actually i kited with you a few times at the coast and i dont need the attention that you think , its good to get your roustings i can tell you that i have got mine on this thing .....down south was good yest. afternoon....

Yah, my quiver of three ‘C’ kites treats me nicely. Though I do grab my wife’s SLE kite once-in-a-while when it nukes up to 40 with psycho gusts…

Did you mean SE of SI instead of South? If you where at Manzo yesterday you must of been having too much fun to notice; the RIVER TROLL was out and about. . . Bring some offerings next time and he/it (not sure) may come by and give you a razz. . .
PS SI has sucked big time this year, but when its on, it's rather fun.

That is not really a good idea, at all. The fine is $78 for no parking pass or at least it was last year when I left my pass in another car. Another lame thing that the po po does is sit and watch you get in your car and leave, as you drive by and he doesn't see a parking pass, he pulls you over. Been drinking huh?, probably cause for the pullover (no parking pass) and now you got a DUI.

| Yeah, you can knock on wood when it comes to parking passes. God knows how many times I've left the pass tucked in my glove box while out on the water. But never a ticket...Now, screaming out the parking lot going like a bat out of hell, well shit will get you every time, especially after a few beers...Imagine if you get a DUI...Damn, just imagine the kite or board you could have bought...Instead your stuck paying court fees and fines....
