I realize this is general, meant for everyone, but I don’t think I can write this too many times.

Yes, this power lasted a while, but when the poles started falling it went out. We have limited access to phone and internet through the efforts of Brian and the generator. I think it will be a week or 2 for power and water to be restored, maybe longer for phones. It is a disaster, wasn’t fun, and looks like a war zone, but we all came through safely and unharmed. The storm reached category 4 status before getting here, I’m not sure if it was a 3 or 4 when it passed, but winds had to be over 100mph.
