| In the spirit of the "downwinder weekend" is anyone up for a tasty downwinder today??? Maybe Viento to the Spit? There's some nice swell and flat water in there. I'm ready for some riding after yesterday's break...especially if I can ride my 12m and not have to worry about 40knot gusts.

Hey, Chris. No worries. I believe the wind came up at Stevenson after I left, so staying was the right call for you. We had a pretty sweet, but intense downwinder from Viento as the wind was real strong gusting to maybe the low thirties. I was LIT on my 12m Octane and Scott looked juiced on his 10m Vegas I believe. Good times!
Scott, didn't get to talk to you afterwards because you took off downwind so fast and disappeared. I got a ride back to Viento so no worries, but still curious why you were in such a rush. Hope you had a blast on the downwinder and weren't too overpowered. That stretch of river definitely has some nice riding, and we had it all to ourselves up until Swell City
