Thinking of heading out to the Island after work. Anyone think is going to happen?

Appears that it will blow. Wind quality, speed & dirrection is in question...

Unknowns are: 1) how much westerly wind effects will there be (makes wind gusty, holey & light on the inside), 2) what’s the tidal influence to the current & 3) cloud effect?

NOAA PinPoint Forecast:
For: 10.3 miles south of Columbia City.

clouds moved in from the East on Monday night and it filled in nicely... maybe 17mph+. i think there are more factors than just the sun, its a regional thing. not sure where to get the pressure gradient readings but that would be key. usually this link has a sensor for sauvies that seems to be pretty accurate but its not showing up right now, scappoose is N @ 8 so i'm guessing its blowing similar if not more at sauvies

405 bridge flags say no.

Last night was light - had some fun with the surfboard and a 15 fuel with the occasional 20 minute teaser - a fickle mistress indeed.
