The big end is for going to windward(uuuuugh) and the little end is for bearing off(and turning,,,, mmmmmm)
It's for sure a leg burner, but soooo worth it
but built for the other way
down the line ,faaaast, kite low, gybing turns ,30+ wind
big fins have a lot of lift (and don't spin out) little end very sticky,1/4" concave ,2" flat section along edges so it rolls from heel to toe very smooth

For you gybers ,small narrow speed boards are not fun to gybe here ,rough and big with a gear eating current.
Big ole surf-style boards are for sure too slow except when light
I look to waterskis mostly and what the Windsurfers are using as well as a surfboard for design,
come try it if you like ,I'm the only resident kiter in Florence and go out late in the day when it fills in around 4

J, Did you get out in the fog soup and give it a try today? What do you think about tomorrow? Thinking of heading your way.
