Here's a new spot to play. Thinking it should be called "CSO Headquarters!" I launched from a floating dock just south of the Hawthorne bridge on the east side. Ended up under the Marquam Bridge on the west side. Near floating Newport bay restaurant. The wind is NOT very good. Lots of turbulance from bridges, buildings ect.
The bums did not know what to make of me Smile

solo sessions with a tricky launch
and no clear exit strategy are so fun.

I'm super jealous Mark... I was out there on Wednesday night scoping it out. I was thinking it'd be sweet to roll out of my condo down there and launch right out of Waterfront park...

I wonder if the wind would have been more bearable with some flat kite technology?

Anyway, congrats to you and hope Bammer got some sweet pics.

What I really needed was more wind! You do have a great peanut gallery on the resturant docks!
