Ugh!! Just drug my onads home from the coast. What a weekend!! Land boarding, down winders & wave smacking galore!!!

Ruben, Aaron & Nick going off @ the Shipwreck & the local wave crew with some Gorge additions taking the surf riding to the next level!! Ruben was riding a Fuel & Aaron was on a Fusion

I mostly shot video & it will be a few days before I can get through it.

Here are a few stills I shot while in video mode. Bammer’s shutter was going crazy next to me. Bet he got some good ones?? ~D

SS Kite Report:
Lot’s of LINKs flying around. Here are some of the colors.

Hey J.P. I got a closer look at the LINK and it does have more sweep to wing tip than we thought and some creatively placed batons. ~D

And Waroo’s took over the Sunset downwinder at the NewWind surf camp!

Didn’t spot any new Naish gear. Anyone see any?

The trailing edge on the Link doesn't look scalloped at all...

Saw ken on norths version of the hybrid. Looks just like the link appears and alot like the flexi Ion. The hybrid seems to be a great design. Although kens kite inverted on him. hehe. looked like it accelled at going down wind(not down the line) and ken, a usual shredder, had to work to come back up wind.

speaking of the coast - do you think the hot weather will create death fog or will the noaa forecast for 30 knots prove true?

normally 30 knot forecast with 5 feet of west swell sounds like perfection, but the valley is supposed to heat up to 100! is that much valley heat a fog guarentee?

man good call blowhard. looks like fog-gonnit for today. good thing i played hookey yesterday.

you think the record heat will kill the weekend with fog as well? sometimes you can escape it north but it looks all shut down right now (except for floras).

hmmm i just assumed the rest of the coast was fogged out. that's generally the only explanation for the noaa forecast being that far off.

pkh you got a link for a newport cam? that's about as far north as im willing to drive.
