Here are some of my favorite images of Jesse at the King of the Air and Shawn during a photo shoot at kite beach. I had an awesome time at the KOA getting repeatedly sledded out past the break at Ho'okipa, only to get swept back in as I went in for the shot. I have a lot of respect for the photographers in the water & the riders after working with you in Baja on the NewWind promo photo shoot. Timing the trick and getting close, but not landing on the photographers head is really challenging. Hope to see you guys at the Coast or Gorge soon. Dan, NewWind wants to use that first shot of you for promo stuff, so you should probably remove it to be on the safe side. I was using a 1DSmkii, 20mm lens, SPL waterhousing with 580ex strobe. Seriously, though, a good waterhousing is worth every penny. I like the fact that the SPL is cast aluminum and can take a beating.
