River troll what is going on? U are breaking ur own "first rule". Sail but don't brag and or tell anyone that was not there about ur session.

U must be using non-oil based paints right now, or u have a hole in ur brown paper huffing bag; ur not thinking too clearly. Twisted Evil Razz Evil or Very Mad

I talked to a friend of mine who was fishing on Nehalem last night. He said he saw a green troll about 50 ft in the air, flying straight downwind into the hills. He thought he heard the Troll screaming..."why did I rig my seventeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnn?!"

Shocked

i dont see why you wouldn't want to share your experiences. Personally i like to hear about other peoples sessions. maybe provide more detail though and talk about what could have gone wrong and what you did to make it work.

Since Manzo seems to be the spot of the week, here's a 4 1/2 minute toast to our little windy gem of the North Coast.

Not the greatest footage...promise to bring the tripod next time. There are a few forum regulars featured....some lurkers too.

No kidding. Manzanita was amazing all weekend. I can’t believe more people didn’t go… Lots of talk about how cool the coast is, but no commitment! My original plan was jones on Saturday, but with manzo already at 26-30 it didn’t take much for me to keep driving.

I rigged down to my 5 waroo today—perfect for the whole day. Could have used it yesterday also but went 7 to be sure. Funny how you can tell everyone else is a local—they go sample 1-2hrs of the best wind and then pack it in—no worries, they’ll just go back tomorrow. So lucky.

Some sizable waves Saturday huh?
