well, you have to bear in mind they are not that clean everywhere at florence... the jetty cleans them up nicely so there is a sweet spot. you have to spend some time riding back upwind to get the goods unlike a downwinder. and fisher has the skills to time it and get in deep and make it look easier then it is.

and sometimes the swell is too small or the wrong direction or it's foggy blah blah blah.

but on whole we think it is the best kiting spot in the world.

but some people think ft stevens is better.

troll , you need to come down for a family reunion and ride the 7m in the waves, from my monitoring of the oregon winds it seems that does'nt happen up there that often. The love is on the 7 in the surf hard to beat it.
Now I wish the swell would go to 6 at least.
