Years ago i bought a pair of headphones with silicon covers (they fell out on almost every crash).
Then i bucked up and bought a pair of ear buds from Swimman:
http://www.swimman.com/PACKAGEC.html.
They worked great, but eventually the speakers crapped out.
Anyone know of alternatives they would recommend before I shell out for another pair of the Swimman earbuds? Also, suggestions for waterproof players, as my Rio in a drybag started taking on water last summer.
Thanks

I've been using an OtterBox case with my old nano for a couple years and have been very happy. No leaks at all. The only thing is that the sound isn't spectacular....given the water. Would recommend checking into this. If you have a 4th gen nano, they have a great sale on the waterproof kit.

Otterbox for sure....comes in all different sizes and you can control your tunes under a wetsuit with no problems at all. (I have mini and shuffle)
I bought the waterproof ear bud rubber covers and put them over regular cheap headphones. Decent quality, very rarely fall out except on hard impact and have been using the same set for years now. I'm actually amazed since the whole set-up was about $20 on Ebay.

I have had horrible time with h2o audios laird headpgones really bad sound staticky and one of the sides has gone completely out. I'm on my third pair now. They ac knowledge the problem and send me new ones . I will say that when they work and I've had others that worked great my water tunes take an epic session and take it to another level not to mention act as ear plugs to help with the surfers ear problem.

Thanks everyone for the input.
Monkey; I saw the one you've got, but on Amazon the customer reviews scared me off (crapping out after 5 uses, etc). How long has the MP3 player been working for you?

I just bought a refub 4th gen ipod nano--79 bucks.
Per the otter box buy direct. They are selling the ottorboxes for these for 40bucks and comes with H2O headphones and an armband. Pretty stellar deal--4th gen only but what--you are going to be taking video on your ipod nano while kiting--no way 4th gen the way to go!

I have a 2nd gen ...which I paid $20.
I think they sound about the same in windy conditions. Its great.
Sella was right when he says it helps you kite longer and harder.
I use an armband and h2o earbuds. Love it.
