Hey Hein,
Same goes for ShredBarbie. Please
indicate when you are speaking for
the CGKA and when you are speaking
for yourself.
That's a good idea. I was actually thinking about marking the things in my post that were discussed in the CGKA meeting, but chose not to since my post yesterday ended up being my personal thoughts as a kiter.
I agree though, that in being a part of CGKA I will make the effort to make sure the CGKA 'voice' is labled clearly, and my own personal 'voice' labled clearly as well. Thanks for the heads up.

I've found that the NSI Golf bag coupled with a set of boobs does the trick.

Hey everyone, I just found out on this forum it's now a crime to make fun of myself. Phew, thanks for letting me know.

Pkh have you thought of making a CGKA part of the forum? There seems to be a lot of talk about it and it would be nice if all of the posts regarding that were together. Just an Idea _________________ I heart dangling |

I am cool to do whatever the CGKA wants to do. My thoughts are, I don't mind creating another area, but if the group really wants their topics to have exposure and involvement then it might be best to keep them on the main forum for now.
I know Mark was going to work on a website, so when that's done I will link to it as well. |

I was wondering if it would be worth while for us to call the port in favor of kiteboarders launching somewhere since they are recieving phone calls from people that don't want us there?
Sherry, should we light up your switchboard? Or our are concerns being given appropriate weight? |

Flow rates were over 350,000 cfs and have dropped to under 300,000 cfs
lately. Watch it at these links:
John Day Dam
The Dalles Dam
Bonneville Dam
Hey Ikitesurf! Maybe you can parse these text links and add realtime river flow
and pool elevation data to your site.
I wonder what the elevation at Bonneville has to be for the bar to show?
Can anyone tell me what time the bar was above water?

Damn Mike... You surprise me... Something of substance.. Bravo!!!
A similar situation exists at jetty…
The side onshore is just too much for some nubees to figure out so they sit on the edge of the water blocking the shore to incoming & out going traffic when all they need to do is drop into the water and body drag up wind and off the beach.
Body dragging up wind is the pre-req on the progression by any competent school today to get to he next step, going out with a the board.
I guess some people are blind to the obvious or have shitty instructors that BS them.

Not at all, just been in the game since mid 1999 and I’m just “keeping it real”
and you?
This by the way is the one endearing qualities I noticed right off the bat with Italians, They're not PC and they could really give a sh&t what you think and if they think you're a Idiot, they'll tell you right to your face.
Bravo!
Say.. have you ever read “The Emperors New Clothes”? Pick it up,
it might help give you a new perspective on things..
probably not, but it may.

2002 myself. Obviously not long enough to forget that at one time I used to get yarded, and dragged, and crashed my kite here and there. I think perhaps because you learned when there was nobody around, you probable aren't aware that nothing sucks worse then to be stooked on a new sport and trying your best to learn only to get some dickhead vibe from Captain kiteboarder.
Newbs body dragging, geeting yarded, and ditching their kites in front of you etc. are fully aware they look like tools. Vibing them or griping about them on a kiteforum just makes you look like a tool.
No big deal though, you just keep on keeping it real. |

What’s your point??? form over substance... appearance… not looking like a tool????
is the house you live in?
done correctly the kite PULLS you up wind just like when you riding.
Mcfly, leashes are a thing of the past and a damn good thing b/c it takes about an once of skill above flying the kite on land with one hand in control to body drag up wind...
Look like a tool… shheezzz!!!! wake up man, this is kite boarding, shit happens and everyone, yes everyone has their moment in the spot light regardless of skill.
The point Mike Hawk id a frick’n bulls eyes… teach people the deal with launching in knee deep water.
IMO that’s a hell of better and faster solution that working the Port..
Whad up brah, not into empowering the people with knowledge?
Knowledge is power... empower the people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
