I hope so! For now we should just put a nuclear reactor grid in the Columbia... That'd definately warm things up a bit, and well if it leaked, we'd probably die too!

Thankfully the river is moving further from the nukes.

Trojan is the big cooling tower you see from Longview, right next to Prescott Beach. It should be quite the show when it implodes next week.

Isnt Jones closer for you? Jones is great riding. It goes off before Sauvies and I think more often.

Isn't Kalama even closer than Prescott to Kelso? Kalama sometimes blows when SI doesn't because it is less affected by easterlies coming out of the gorge. Don't know if SI ever blows but Kalama is calm, not sure what would cause that except maybe a cloudline? Would be interesting to know about though. paul

Yes it does blow when Sauvies goes, sometimes even when Sauvies is flat water, and its usually stronger. Though if Jones or Kalama are closer you might take paul or Marks advice and check those out. I would say they are bigger / nicer beaches (with less agro fisherman.)

Also Prescott has a day use fee. I think its only a couple bucks though.
