I could not belive I won, so I was waiting to post anything until I had the kite in my hands. But if they put it on their website it must be for real.

Totally paid to spend the five minutes filling out the survey.

They were going to send a 12 but Nicole went for the 9m, based on Tonski's results last year, it seems like the smaller bows do girls just fine. She's got the home made glide too which will help.

Of course if its super light she could always jump on one of my big kites, that is if she doesn't mind riding a "value brand" now that she's got the gucci kite. Wink

Nice work on the “Mind Control” experiment Doolittle!! Thumb's Up Thumb's Up
I hope there aren’t any side effects or long term damage from Cabrinha pulling all that data out of your brain... Drunk

Time to shape a Doolittle kitesurf board now that you got a flat kite for riding the waves…

Gucci kite, that's a good one pkh!! Laughing Laughing

Guess my new slingy bar qualifies as a Tiffany accessory at the MSRP SS is listing.

I was thinking of building a coffee table for the new place but maybe it can be a hybrid, coffee table in the winter and surfboard in the summer. Very Happy

I can't tell for sure, but I think the bar is the same as the Crossbow ones I have seen.

One problem we are having right now is we can't get the stopper to lock down in place. Do you have to pull it down really hard the first time or something? There is a backup stopper ball and line stopper thingy in the bag, maybe we should try that one...

PKH-

Just pull the stopper ball down hard until it snaps in. Kite Karl had the same problem and he was going to try the other one. It might take the both of you but it will snap in.

The “punch out” ball/connection is very stiff at first. You may need to use the bar as a lever to lock the ball on while holding the lines. This connection will loosen up with use. Some people’s balls became so loose that you couldn’t rest the bar on the ball when riding without it punching through. Some guys sanded down the male fitting slightly for smoother operation. I recommend just letting it wear in. Tonski always had a tough time resetting the ball on her own, especially in the water. ~D
