Weds night session - Lost my Cabal Fire board Crying or Very sad

Almost got the handle pass - let go - line got tangled around my foot (may need to rethink the sneakers) got sort of hog tied and dragged around feet first - can't recommend.

Bummer, Johnny;

Hope someone finds it.
Hope it has your name and number on it.

I almost lost my board out at Hood yesterday but a good samaritan kiter found it and dragged it to the sandbar.

Sucks Gman... I'm not sure how you go from handle pass to hog tying... where is your leash rigged?

We should test out that theory on Adam or Tucker, see if a feet forwards body dragging hog tied person, can pull a knife out of a holster, reach forward and cut the safety. Laughing

Sorry to hear about the board.

Yeah... Handle pass leash setup. Should of thought about that. It was hooked to my right hip. So the twists just rolled on down to my foot. Lucky it wasn't that windy and dragged me to shore on my back. I could take a breath and get a hold on my foot but couldn't find where it was snagged. The kite did try take back off once - that sort of freaked me. Thanks to the shore team for grabbing my kite Thumb's Up

The worst thing is that I almost rode right over the top if it. I saw your kite was down, and I tried to get back to your skim to save it, but unskilled newb that I am I can barely manage keeping my own shit together. I couldn't seem to get back to it quickly enuf and I lost sight of it.

Bummed me out. I wanted to be a hero.... Maybe in another month or two I'll be able to pull stuff like that off.

That sucker was really hard to see by the way. All black on the side that was showing. Maybe a nice day glo stripe on your next one would help.

Or maybe you should install a "go-joe" Wink

Shitty deal, John! Sad

As far as testing that, Trevor... you're the safety guy! Tucker and I can assist you in making sure all the knots are tight though. Thumb's Up

FYI I lost mine at Frenchman's Yesterday. With a strong northwest wind it was blown back to the WA side. I am guessing that is where yours ended up. I had to walk a ton of beach to find it... Good luck man.
