12m complete - $379
Anyone have any experience flying these? Never thought about a foil before but if they come again I would be interested at that price...
Thoughts? |

| They're alwesome... if it's not gusty. Even with decent depower, they don't like lulls and gusts. I got racked on my 9m at Dalles Mountain this last year. |

slingshot's snowkite answer to the ozone foils.
actually a good snowkite. many riders prefer a foil kite for the snow. this will allow you to rig faster, backpack in without the worries of pumping. self launching can also be performed with ease.
here's a snowkite video with the 12m slingy in action (lighter winds)

I've heard they're kind of sluggish and not very responsive compared to inflatables and some of the newer Ozone foils. Mike used to have the 9 and 12m and he switched them out for a 15m Ozone (some new kind he demoed at skyline) and is gonna use his Revs when it's windier. I agree that rigging is way easier, but if you're riding near a road it's more fun on the inflatable. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC

| Tried it and I am not a big fan... the Rev is the best snowkite Slingshot makes in my opinion. Much faster and easier to relaunch. Pumping up in snow isn't really that big of a deal. |

Hell yeah, the soup shack and Mt. Haggin rock! If you're ever at Mt. Haggin make sure to grab a bowl of soup on the way in/out. $5 for one of the best big bowls of soup you've ever had. _________________ The Slider Project, LLC
