Here is a quick video my friend Mark put togeather of our Chile trip. We spent 2 weeks in Puclaro, a lake that has an average temp of 75 deg and blows 20-35kts 365 days a year. Needless to say were on the water a lot. His final edit should be done soon.

| Finally fixed the link, everything should work now. There is a HD version and a low res version if the HD is slowing down your comp. |

awesome vid. it's cool to see kiting sped up, I've never seen it: funny to see the kites walk up and down.
Where is chile were you?
And did you use a special video camera, or does that website just let you stream really good quality vid? Thats sick.

I was sad to miss out on the waves. One of my friends was just past tacking upwind so Waves were out of the question, besides the fact that the good spots were 8 hours south of us. Hopefully my next trip down will include some spots like Matanzas and Pichilemu (3 hours south of Santiago). We camped out in a small fishing village just south of La Serena (5 hours north of Santiago). The camp ground was seated directly on the beach. The spot we sessioned most was Puclaro, its a small resivoir about 45 min inland. Very similar setup to the gorge with fog in the morning on the coast and hot arid desert inland, and mountain ranges to the north and south. We got lucky on our trip back to Santiago with some gusty winds at a spot call Pichidangui, an amazing looking bay with solid overhead surf. Unfortunatly there was no video shot due to the 1/2 mile walk down wind to the launch spot.
As for the camer, not 100% sure the camera brand or model but I do know that it was a HD camera. I know that he dished out some huge coin for it. I'll try to get the specs when I talk to him.
