i thought this looked pretty funny....maybe being in in So.ORegon now I havent been up with the hottest new gear in the Gorge and these are all the rage

Hey!! I have one of those!! It's black, and it's called the running bar of my 99 Dodge Durango. I think I paid too much for mine though...that one is way cheaper.

I think the CGKA should really look at getting a dozen or so to permanently put down at the sandbar. People could self launch themselves till their hearts content. Laughing

That thing is ggggaaaayyyy! If you want a simple device that works well for about $10, the superscrew is pretty cool. My step-father designed them for the ultimate tie down- great for tarps, camping, etc.... Just happens to work great for launching kites (one of many ways to self-launch an sle). Sorry no flags included...just use an old kite leash. The handle is also the screw protector so you can leave it it a kite bag.
