				That’s in.the sf bay

Most would just go to The docks at Berkeley, the frontage Road hell you can even go to his Lord ships restaurant

And yes, you could go out to the end of the Emeryville Peninsula

I’ve kite around that area just north of the ramp there’s a sand bar that lives there |

Thanks, I grew up in Berkeley and learned to WS off of Frontage Rd.

The Emeryville ramp was a surprise to me that I stumbled upon while googling an unrelated topic. I used to launch my kite off of the small beach at the southern end of Frontage on the little peninsula, but its directly onshore wind with no margin for error.

The potential Emeryville ramp looks perfect. Stronger wind and more margin to pump up onto foil.

Im not a fan of the rip rap at His Lordships, though I used it in a pinch. |

I do know a couple of early kiting pioneers that launched their on two line Nash kites and they would come in at Ashby Beach frontage Road. It was just a down wind run.

I have windsurfed and kited there since 1981 kited since 2004 there but I haven’t been back to Berkeley since the homeless took over Ashby Beach frontage Road oh and his Lord ships but they cleared that out

I feel I should know you? |
