On all of my slingshot bars the non-safety leash flying line becomes longer than the safety leash flying line. I have noticed this over the years when I check my bar lines. Recently the non-safety flying line on the Sentinel was 4 inches longer than the safety leash flying line. It was very noticeable when flying the kite, pulling hard to the left and bar tilted up from horizontal on the left side when in neutral.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening?
The one that was really long was on a bar my wife uses and she doesn't do big air, or kite loops, or really any kind of tricks, and she's never had a drag.

Make sure you disconnect the safety bungee from the red loop before you check line length. It should be hanging free below the swivel. If you don't do this the bungee will pull the line in some making the safety line appear to be shorter. if this doesn't fix it and your lines really have a four inch discrepancy, I'd change out the line set. It could be on the verge of failing. |

Yes I do that. Good advice about replacing lines. I’m just puzzled why that one left side non safety middle line is always the one that stretches. At least on our bars. I’m going to check a bunch of them when I get back to Oregon |
