My company has upgraded several industrial computers at nearby wind farms and we have working computer hardware to dispose of. I've donated to FreeGeek in Portland before but was curious if there is e-cycling in the gorge. I thought HRVS was running a program for students, and I came across http://www.strut.org.

I will destroy the hard drives for security purposes. We are now running VMs on multi-core server-class hardware (Dell) to replace older individual servers (HP), which should be fine for re-purposing or recycling.

Anyone have insight or suggestions?

Yes:

Call Hood River Middle School. Ask for Brent Emmons, principal. The robots teacher, David, may want them. You can get a tax write-off too.
