Is there some kind of "dressing" that will slow down the fraying particularly around splices of add on line lengths ?

I had good success with Bow Wax.... as long as I stayed in a climate under 90 degrees. Then I moved to winters in Mexico and it instantly got very very sticky, then picked up tons of sharp beach sand.... front depower cord wrecked in 3 sessions. _________________ CGKA Member
