cannot really comment on BEST, which implies after all that i have reviewed them all, but. . .
the real series, 0-to-hero, joyride, etc, is reallt the bomb, well put together, fun to watch, and helped me a bunch. cant wait to pick up the surf 101 and get out in the waves.

1. Fatsands Progression Beginner. Excellent value for money. No kiter to basic tricks.
2. The complete Kiteboarding Guide. A little dated but great location. Hawaii!
3. Real Kiteboarding - Zero to Hero - Good start off video but you need the rest in the series to progress. Some excellent ideas in Evolution and Joyride how to become proficient kiteboarding.
This is based on my experience of starting kiteboarding a year ago. BTW, I have all these DVD's.

I've seen them all and believe Shannon's work is superior to all others.
BEST 101
BEST 202

The Complete Kiteboarding DVD is hands down the most complete video for beginners. I spent my first year watching sections of that video. I would also recommend the Fatsand videos too. You can find them on Totalvid.com.

I rented one from ASI in 04 and my GF learned more than I did! And we were both watching the ladies!! She was self launching the 2m while i was on the water and she was body dragging shortly after!
It was a girls 'learn to kite' vid and I dubbed it but lost it. Maybe someone remembers the name of it.
Great vid, just wish I did not 'loose' it.
