I am looking to replace old Rallys 2012's with something new. I am interested in the Pivots but I haven't seen much rider reviews on the 2017's. We mainly ride the Gorge with the occasional Hawaii trip, so being a wave kite is not a huge motivator. I like freestyle/ directional and the Mrs is mowing the lawn. I know every new kite is the best most awesome thing ever so who has been on these kites, what do ya think of them? |

Flies the same as the 2015,2016. Except this year the kite is made with Quad tex. The kite is labeled as a freeride, wave kite. But it jumps well and is very predictable in the gusty gorge winds. I use them for foil riding. They will stay where they are put in window allowing you to surf, foil, have fun without looking up to see if it is drifting. Anyway, I give them a thumbs up. Come see me on the beach for a quicky demo or more input.
