Hello everyone. Just finished up on our safari in Tanzania. It is definitely something I would recommend for everyone if you have the time. Janet and I saw pretty much everything we had hoped except for a live kill. We got close a couple of times. We had a cheetah about to try and take down some impalla, but they spotted him from too far away, and we saw a couple of lions tracking some water buffalo, but they also were spotted.

We came upon this kill that was made by two female and two male lions. The lion in the second picture didn't get away unscathed. It looks like it will probably go blind in the one eye.

5 days on Zanzibar now and then back to the states. Can someone get the stock market turned around before we get back, thanks. Wink

We just got here today, so not yet. We may kite for a day, but we will probably do some diving and snorkling. We have a 3 week trip to brazil planned at the end of the month.

Trip has been a blast, although nt without its snags, as can be expected when you're in Africa. On Safari we visited the Serengeti, NDarakoi(a private game reserve, not sure about the spelling), Ngorogoro crater (we saw 4 black rhinos), and terengere.

We have tons of great shots. I think in total we probably saw like 40+ lions, although probably half of them I wasn't close enough to get great photos. Our guide was amazing at spotting animals. We were driving by a tree and he spotted a chameleon in the branches. We saw the black rhinos which are really cool, since htere are only like 20 left in the world. Cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, and one leopard.

Ok, won't be online again probably since I am back home.

Killamanjaro lager-check Smile

Did a few dives the last couple of days. Today we saw dolphins out on our dive, so we got to jump in the water and swim around with them for a few minutes which was really cool.

I think the next couple of days we are going to check out the east side of the island and kite if windy or dive again.

The far north east is usually the best wind.
