I was the only one there! My Son and I were there very early. He got a chance to fly the trainer while I got out on the water. Very cool to have the whole river to myself. Hope to get out today!

Logs are slowly going away. We still need one day of moving logs to be free. Or after everyones done some evening we just need to pitch the last logs in the river. The current is very strong right now.
Again, I am willing to help free our beach!!

You're not supposed to... but, if you do just make sure you don't introduce yourself as kiteboarder if the cops show up.

I’m a pyro to the core, but we should think about the ramifications of a “burn” from the residue standpoint. Black charcoal on the kite really sucks. If we keep the fire pit tight and shovel up the coals & ash I think we can make it happen.

Sounds like a fun Friday night activity. ~Onad

I agree with Dan. Burning can make a huge mess. With the river flowing strong its just easier to pitch them back in the river.
My opinion....

Today (sunday) might be a great day to pitch the rest of the wood into the river. If anyone is interested I would join them....

The wind is 10 mph out of the south right now. That with the strong current would really wash stuff downriver.
