moon mtn area , broken top, snowmobile access to wilderness boundry Very Happy . us forest service stops by to check up, and as it turns out kiting in wilderness of Oregon is legal. however no hangglidin' or parasailin'. the wind on friday was lite, 20 meter machine, saturday was from 6-30+ on a 15 meter fuel Shocked . A foot of powder and snowing, overall the wind was dirty from the south. perfect area but wind was tough. lots of fifth line launch practice. Sad still having camera issues , sorry no shot on command. Had to keep batteries in glove then remove and install in camera for 3 shots before having to rewarm. Confused overall a struggle, craterlake is a much more worth while adventure than moon mtn, imho. most of these shots were looking north. the shot with the snowmobile partial has a great slope to play with on the left edge, but with south wind it was hard to make it work. Very Happy moon mtn is north of mt bachelor, a couple miles past dutchman flats, east of broken top. ball butte is the feature on the left with the snowmobile windshield in it. movin' on to better places. peace Twisted Evil

Moon Mtn. is the steepest hillclimb in the area ,next to Mt.Bachelor and before Broken Top ,East of S. Sister, Tam Mccarther is a better bet, clean looking ridge to the north but not to be available until weather breaks and can find passage to it
