It would be kind of fun to have a running tally of all the stuff left at beaches or boards that eventually end up on some Japanese beach for one year.

how many boards lost a year? 10? 20? 50?

all the crap from the homeless camps ,
and it's considerable ,at least from Springfield Eugene area.
storm drains
etc
ends up on the beaches of
Oregon I would guess, as the outfall of the Columbia
is blown back to shore
what escapes that ends up in the hook of Baja by Guerro Negro

The flow at Rufus is really strong, as you may know, pulling unsuspecting boards quickly past flailing kiters in fricken hurry.

It's a good time to think about how you will set up your leash.

I know of 7 boards so far that I heard of folks losing just a Rufur.

Yeah get a leash. That way with all the money you save from losing your board, you can use it to pay your emergency room deductibles.

Get a Go Jo and a leash – double up the protection.
