Dude, it was pure insanity out there. You couldn't even get in or out of the beach at some points due to the schools and people teaching their friends.

While I was riding I started counting
58 kites on the water around the spit
4 windsurfers (lots were at swell but I couldn't see that far to count)

Busy day for sure

I seriously don't get it.
Sardine spit.

I think I would go old school and start windsurfing--- and find somewhere to ride alone.

I'm stuck in the SLC airport, but my wife and kids just called from down at the new park to tell me that they counted more than 75 kites on the water between HR And White Salmon Bridges. Oh the event site shall soon be ours:)

Yeap, pretty crazy. Kodiak and I just went up to Wells and kited around there to get out of the huge heap of kites. A couple hours up there and good wind, and we were set:-) Unbelieveable how many kites were at the spit, but then again, this is usually a week for vacations...

Wednesday was ridiculous for sure. Tons of people out there who didn't belong. I got some kid's board back to him on a yellow and red rev 7m, keep an eye out for him as he doesn't appear to know what he's doing.
