The 25 story tower being built north of town has a leaning problem - 4 to 5 degrees.
They may have to tear it down. I think the tower is hurting wind quailty at the north flats on SE days.

Hopefully this will slow down building at the north end of town.

thos things are going to sell like hotcakes!!

For sale: Condo constructed on unconsolidated fill with inadequate pilings.

You would be amazed at how deep those pilings actually go. WE are building a pedestrian bridge over I-405 in Issiquah, WA. This is only a foot bridge mind you. The pilings (which are around 4' in diameter) are drilled to an average depth of 150' !!!

There is no substitute for solid geothechnical work and good engineering.

If they can't build UP, they will built OUT...and the only thing worse than high rises is sprawl...
