Fri Jun 13, 08 9:00 pm Question for saturday |
|
|
My brother's in town. He's had some lessons but needs a place to crash the kite. HR will be out of the questions. I was thinking SI today, but the water's so high there's no real beach as you walk downriver.
Where can we go besides the ocean? Would Jones beach be a good spot (wide open spaces?). Any place I'm not thinking of? Thanks. |

Jones beach is a wide open space and every time I've been there it was only a handful of people - never crowded. _________________ Still rockin gojos, *ssless chaps, and ankle weights! |

| The bad thing about Jones is that the wind is always side onshore, so any crashes will invariably hit land not water. Unless you head out into deeper water of course... Other than that, lots of space for beginners. |
