So I don't like the safety on the SB2 bar: your option is to hook in to the back line (Results in spiraling kite) or go suicide... Did a little land dragging during a squall w/ the latter option. Very Happy

I came across this video while looking up a SB2 front line leash mod & I think this video would have helped me a lot!!! Also good for self-landing.

Thanks for the video. Nice hint in kite handling. I have been quite comfortable with just letting the bar go. So far, the kite hanging on a chicken loop depowers enough for the conditions I fly it in, but being a n00b I am not pushing it. It is comforting to know there is another safety step if things get a bit out of hand.

It seems like running additional line from the center lines through the bar for a modified leash attachment to simulate center lines grab should be relatively simple. I am going to have a second look at this once I am in position to worry about such things.

Getting on the board has to come first. Crying or Very sad
