Is the water bad because of the rain? Does Scappoose forecast apply to Sauvie?

Thanks.

Scap forecast:

Friday: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming northwest between 11 and 14 mph. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 51. Northwest wind between 11 and 14 mph becoming calm. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

the CSO effect usually doesn't linger around for that long once the rains stop. I would think the high river flows would help the situation as well.

Seems like friday late pm could be good. Watch the pressure gradients and Jones.

If there is wind tomorrow I'm going to have to catch it - I'm going stir crazy!!!

By the way - has anyone noticed the number of locked threads (and deleted threads) over the last couple of days - thats a pretty good sign we all need to get some wind soon!!

My bad. And yes I am very stir-crazy Exclamation

Sorry everyone Embarassed .

I think I might go SI, 3ish, as well. I was there on a massive 0-3.5mph day, last week, and cleared away a ton of big snag crap off the beach for us. Still all the little twigs can mess wid yer lines.

I'll try to stay out of your way, but for a good laugh, watch the foilguy Laughing

I'm just too lazy to pump up my cab 20m nit or my 16m ss fuel.

Doesn't look good right now - but it may turn around. Ikitesurf is saying sauvie's is blowing from the NE at 5. Scap is aat 5 coming from the N. And Kelso is at six coming from the west.

it may take a turn for the better - but hard to say.

Thanks Spike. I'm not going to risk it. Good luck to those who do. It could turn around.

I think it would be best to head east if you want to kite today.
