Also keep in mind there's high water and strong current.
The water level is typically at about 3-5 feet in early summer. Its just under 15 feet right now and it's been coming up fast! A lot of debris in the water too.

I'm planning on checking out the washington side in a few minutes (Frenchman's bar). I'm not optimistic, but who knows? I think west wind might work a little better there since the it's right where the river starts to bend to the west. Guess I'll find out, it's only about 5 min from my house so not too much risk.
I skipped the last few days cause I thought today had the best chance or working out... might have screwed that one up.

| yeah the high water and debris and rapids have been really crazy. The water was really moving fast at the airport yesterday, and wooden fence that extends out into the water was causing serious upwelling and flukey-ness.
