sailflow is forecasting stronger winds at rooster for Thursday since they have a SI forecast does this mean they have a sensor there? more importantly is rooster still underwater wasn't there a link to find this out if anyone could clue me in much thanks Very Happy

You can still launch at the east launch with help even if its flooded, and you can launch right in front of the entrance, too. But it's gustier there. And it's easier with help there, too. I'd like to know if the water levels dropped, or how to tell.

with easterlies in the gorge, a decent chance people may get skunked on the northern coast. or it could be epic. who knows.

if you want to assess the odds, look through the ikitesurf archives for a couple years at all the spring/summer days with easterlies, and see how many of them had the coast blow as well.

thermal trough on the coast usually a bad sign. i remember one weekend where most of the coast was shut down due to offshore wind line, but south of manzo--oceanside, etc--did blow.

Here's a link for water levels and water temps below Bonneville. Look for 15 feet for a decent beach at the East launch site...
