Hey all,

I, rookily, got squalled yesterday at the sandbar and lost my board.

A 143 older North Defender. It is yellow. Reward for whoever finds it.

Thanks. Happy hunting.

Shitty Max. Sorry to hear it. If you really love your board, you have to let it go. If it was ment to be it'll come back.

Good luck,
Mike

call bonneville dam in a week or so. They retrieve quite a few boards in their "skimmer" or whatever they use to prevent logs and what not from piling up on the dam. From what I have been told they do make efforts to return the boards to their rightfull owners.

I didn't know you were from Jackson.....I was out there for a bit...UW-Alumni!!
you know A.J. Japel and Margie...??

I'd check with Bonneville for sure.

Also check the SOUTH shore of Wells Island. There is an interesting flow that often dumps boards there.

Hey all,

Thanks for the advice. I'll check Wells Island tomorrow. I'll give the dam a call in a few days.

I know an AJ and a Margie in Jackson but I don't think they went to UW, if thats where you know them from. Last names don't really exist in the ski bum culture there.

Mike, thanks for the emotional support. I'm sure the Defender and I will meet again some day... running through a field of wildflowers into each others arms.

I had quite a week of epic kite (mis)adventures. Fortunately today was the best day ever...

Pink, you may also wish to build an altar in tribute to the unicorn. Unicorns are the patron saints of lost kite boards. Worth a try....

Yeah, they both went to UW back in the day....but I know them from the Midwest originally...AJ= Iowa, Margie= Wisco

Just thought I would ask cuz we used to shack-up at their place in Jackson all the time when we came in town and I always wanted to get them into kiting. Now they have a little one named Olin.

Jackson is sweet...ever kited Jackson Lake...?
