i have an 06 13m and an 07 11m..
ive been completely litt on the 13m and its jumps to the moon, but last night i was on the 11m, granted it was only blowing 18-22mph and im 200lbs, but it didnt seem to jump as well.... not as much lift, i could boost some 10+ ft kiteloops and almost get the kite back above me but i just didnt seem to get as much lift as the 13m did....

so is it because i didnt have enough wind to release the true characteristics of the kite do i need solid 25 to really enjoy the 11m at my wieght, or were the 07's made more for wakestyle and waves and they dont jump as high as the 06's.....

thanx for your help

must be the wind , every year they jump higher and have way more depower not to mention the relaunch. you want power , raw power get some 02s. control is nice though.

at 190 lbs these days at 25mph I fly a seven fuel. my 11 is perfect at 20mph. 13 would be a 15mph so if your flying lit up you will jump higher and the bigger the kite the more glide time.

The '06s are nice kites. I fly the 11m in 18-22 and that is its sweet spot for me. I'm 175. I think the wind was a little light for you at your weight. My friend is about your size and would be on the 13m in those winds. I don't mind flying the 11m in winds over 22 (22-28, gusts to 30 is too much) so I'd say it would be your high wind kite. At your size, I don't think the 13m would be a good kite under 18 though unless its real steady and the water is nice and flat. Might check out a 17m.
