Are there any cross country skiiers out there? I would like to get into this, but I'm not sure if the season is still going - I see that Meadows shut down their nordic center for the season - are there other places to go that are still open for groomed trails?

Teacup just on the HR side of the HRM lot. Also Adams. Tons of snow.

Go into 2nd wind and rent some gear, it is basically hiking with skinny skis, can be a great workout. Other option is snowshoes.

i think they apply the rental fee toward purchase, they have very good deals on used gear as well.

Bennett Pass right across from the main Meadows entrance is a trailhead, Be wary of avalanche danger on the "terrible traverse."

Most of the snow parks off of Hwy 35 between Hood and Hood River have ski routes.

If you have the time go CC at Anthony Lakes. It's an amazing set of groomed crosscountry heaven. They have really great rental gear as well.
