I use Nitrous Shorts now and want to learn toe side riding this year. I have heard that seat harnesses make this difficult. Anyone speak from experience?

Also if waist harness is better for this what type have you guys found to be most comfortable? ( I will probably get a waist harness anyway at least for landboarding or snowboarding in the cold winter months.)

I got a seat harness when I first started and found that it greatly impeded my toe-side riding. Can't speak for Nitrous shorts and if they more like a seat harness vs a waist harness. Good to hold onto a seat harness in the event you get an injury to your ribs/mid-section as it won't place as much pressure on the ribs and allows some one injuried to ride at cautious level with a bit of pain.

My 3 cents worth. . .

I used the Nitrous harness for the last couple of years and I spend a lot of time riding toe side. This spring I grabbed a Dakine Pyro and have been using it, it is more comfortable when you are riding toe side cause it rotates around on your waist a bit so your chicken loop has a more direct pull rather than kind of binding up. So in my opinion you can deffinetly ride toeside with the Nitrous but if you are gonna do it alot go with a waist harness.
