Tue Apr 08, 08 6:58 am Rev sizing question....again..need advice |

Hey guys....I know you guys have gotten this question in the past, but I wanted to throw it out there again, since I know you guys are really familiar with the SS lineup.
So I just got a 08 Lunacy and I am seriously thinking of swithing from Fuels to Revs. My only issue is that I dont know what size Revs to go with (13m, 9m or 11m, 7m). In my area we have fairly light winds in the summer...A lot of 15-19mph days, with not so many over 30mph. I weight a bit under 150 and used to fly 15, 13,11,7 fuels. I used the 15m and 13m a lot. Im working on blind stuff and HPs and im just wondering if the 13m Rev will be too big for me since the Lunacy is a pretty wide board. Thanks for any insight you guys can provide.

| I am running the same size Rev quiver as I used to run with the Fuels 7,11,15, in general I think the sizing runs pretty simiular the Revs just have more range so I think it bridges the gaps better if you are skipping a size like I do.

I'd go with the 7/11. I'm on a Lunacy, weigh 145, and ride 7/9/11 REVs. The 11 will easily get you down to riding in 15, just not much less (without working a ton or switching boards).
I have to disagree on the FUEL to REV sizing though. My '07 Fuel 13m had a little less low end than the 11m REV.
Edit: When we were down in SPI last year, Mark was on a REV 13/Glide while I was on a T3 14/Glide (with only a few others on T2 14s and even a Waroo 20). Now, granted the REV doesn't have the ultra-low end grunt of the Turbos, once they get moving, they had about the same power. It was probably blowing a hair over 10... which I know my Fuel 13 would have never, ever stayed up in.
