I chose the Tonya's Sauvies photo over this one, but it wasn't an easy choice. This one definitely deserves to be on this page, so I thought I'd post it down here. Thanks for all your contributions this year Tonya!

| That's awesome. When was that taken? It's crazy to see that many kites at the coast. The most I've seen was a group of 7, including myself!

Hey Kataku2k3,
Tonski snapped the above shot on 7.17.05 from the Clatsop Spit South Jetty. Slingshot was holding their annual employee get-together/party and running van shuttles for down-winders. We counted over 40 kites between the Jetty and Sunset Beach at one time (~85% were Slingshot).
PKH and I got on the water shortly after, lit up on 7m & 9m respectively! Emery was testing a 9m Crossbow on a strapless short board... 
Can’t wait for Summer ‘06 15mile down-winders with Barfly to the Summerhouse Inn...
