replacement thruster fins for weird fin box size

I have an old Hifly directional which I rode a few times in light wind last year strapless. It's a four finner; each about 4 3/4". I've ridden it with only the aft fins, but it loses all surfy feel. With the four 4 3/4" it's a very slow ride.

Keeping in mind that I'm, in effect polishing a turd, I'd like to replace the thruster fins with slightly smaller fins. Unfortunately, it's a weird fin box size (about 2" by 1/4".) If anyone has an idea of where I could find smaller fins (with the weird fin box size), please pm me or post. Thanks.

The bladder suggestions about a month ago were appreciated. I snagged a strut bladder out of an old Wipika. It appears to have worked like a champ.

Don't have any experience w/ those fins but from the looks of it you could just cut the fin insert down to size - if you don't mind making some "custom" fins. Very Happy

If you have a larger box make a little mold and add some epoxy.

I have a case of glass on surfboard fins, tri-sets.

I was thinking about art projects, but I will give you a set to make your own.

looks like the same set up slingshot uses on the srt sst one screw male to box if not exact easy mod.....call shy..... Exclamation
